Biography
Masoud (Mehdi) Zatparvar was a world-renowned bodybuilding champion from Rasht who earned multiple international titles between 2011 and 2013. He was killed by direct gunfire from security forces on January 8, 2026, during protests in Tehran. His body was later transferred to his hometown of Rasht and buried in the Nam-Avaran section of the cemetery.
