Biography
Masoud Zatparvar, a 39-year-old world champion bodybuilder from Rasht, was killed on January 8, 2026, in Tehran. He died from direct gunfire by security forces during protests. Zatparvar had a distinguished career, winning the Asian Youth Championship in 2011 and two World Championships in 2012 and 2013. His body was later transferred to Rasht and buried there.
مسعود ذاتپرور، قهرمان ۳۹ ساله بدنسازی جهان و اهل رشت، در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در تهران با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی کشته شد. او کارنامهای پر افتخار در بدنسازی داشت و قهرمان جوانان آسیا در سال ۲۰۱۱ و قهرمان جهان در سالهای ۲۰۱۲ و ۲۰۱۳ شده بود. پیکر او پس از کشته شدن، با پیگیری خانواده به رشت منتقل و در قطعه نامآوران به خاک سپرده شد.
